Every night, the staff of a chain restaurant would see a stray pup patiently waiting outside their door. Her eyes are always full of hope. She is aware that any minute, a kind Subway staff member will make her a special meal.
Reports said that this friendly little dog has been visiting the store for the entire year, and she never missed a day. Because of that, she earned herself the nickname “Subway Sally.” TikTok user Kxnuko shared a video of Subway Sally’s daily routine a couple of weeks ago. Since then, the short clip has already become viral with millions of views on the app alone.
Sally knows that she will always get herself a meal and freshwater at the food chain. However, she would still not hesitate to try out the nearby restaurants. Sally usually does that when the Subway staff gets a little too late at giving her food.

People suggested that Subway Sally might not be stray because she looks too clean. They wondered if she has a home and only sneaks out at night to have some treats on the side. However, Kxnuko denied this. He explained that the community looks after the pup. Sally has a glossy coat because a woman from a nearby flower shop occasionally baths her.
Although there are people in Portales, New Mexico, who care for Subway Sally, her life on the streets is still a difficult one. According to Kxnuko, he witnessed Sally give birth to four litters since he started working in that Subway branch.
There had been several rescue attempts in the past. However, Sally always finds her way back to her favorite food chain. Kxnuko suspects that Sally has a place where she can sleep regularly and care for her puppies too.
Aside from Sally, there are also other stray dogs in the area who need help. Despite that, Kxnuko said that they will still keep looking after the pup as long as she needs it. After all, she has become part of the community.
